Healify Wellness Clinic is a small, practitioner-led clinic in the Meadowlark area of west Edmonton. Frank Yeh is the founder of the clinic, also a Registered Acupuncturist with the College of Acupuncturists of Alberta, who trained in acupuncture and Chinese medicine in China, the United States and Canada. Your first visit includes a full health history and a treatment plan explained in plain language, including what acupuncture can and can’t realistically do for you.

Acupuncture is one of the better-studied complementary options for chronic back and neck pain, osteoarthritis and headaches. We check progress at each visit and refer you on if something needs a medical assessment.

FEES AND DIRECT BILLING
We bill Alberta Blue Cross, Sun Life and GreenShield directly, and many other insurers such as Canada Life and Manulife through TELUS Health eClaims, so you usually pay only what your plan doesn’t cover.
Check your coverage before your visit. If a claim can’t be processed, you pay at the visit and we give you a receipt to submit. Acupuncture is not covered by Alberta Health Care.

15 minutes. Ask questions and see the clinic.
60 minutes: health history, assessment, a plan in plain language, and your first treatment.
45 minutes. We review progress together and adjust the plan.
Yes. It’s a 15-minute conversation to ask questions and decide whether acupuncture fits your situation. Book it online like any appointment.
The needles are very fine. Most people feel a brief pinch or a dull, heavy sensation, and many find treatment relaxing. Tell Frank if anything feels uncomfortable and he will adjust.
Your first visit (consultation and acupuncture, about 60 minutes) is $140. Follow-up acupuncture (about 45 minutes) is $100. Many extended health plans cover part of the cost.
